HOLD
HOLD has no accounts, no servers and no analytics of its own. Everything you create in the app stays on your iPhone. The free version shows ads from Google, and section 2 explains exactly what that means.
All data you create in HOLD stays in the app's sandboxed storage on your iPhone, and in the shared storage the HOLD widgets read:
HOLD never sends any of this anywhere. There is no server of ours, so there is no copy of your data for anyone to request, export or delete.
Your first 5 holds are ad-free. After that, the free version plays a short full-screen ad from Google AdMob after each hold starts — never before it, and never on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, in notifications or in widgets. HOLD Pro removes all ads. Installs that were already using HOLD before its free-hold limit arrived (version 1.1.0) never see ads.
Ads are delivered by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. While it runs, Google may collect:
Google uses this to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. HOLD asks Google for non-personalized ads only, limits ads to content suitable for all ages, and never shows the "Allow tracking?" prompt.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, Google's consent form asks for your choice before any ad is requested. You can change it at any time in HOLD under Menu → AD PRIVACY CHOICES.
The ad software is never started for HOLD Pro users, or for installs that never see ads. Google's own policy is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you see an inappropriate ad, use Menu → REPORT AN AD in HOLD, or email us at the address below.
HOLD Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see, receive or store your payment card details, billing address or Apple Account credentials. Apple handles purchase validation under the Apple Privacy Policy.
HOLD is not directed at children. Ads are limited to content rated for all ages.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
